We believe that private family conversations should remain private. That is why Gen Signals is built with a privacy-first architecture:

• No Cloud Storage of Messages: We do not store your children's text messages, social media chats, or images on our servers.
• On-Device AI: Whenever possible, analysis is performed directly on your device.
• Anonymized API Calls: When a message needs deeper analysis, it is scrubbed of personally identifiable information (PII) before being sent securely to our AI providers. The raw data is immediately discarded after analysis.

2. Information We Collect

To make the app function, we collect the bare minimum:

• Account Information: Your email address and basic profile details used for logging in.
• App Usage Data: Anonymous analytics (like which features are used most) to help us improve the app, via PostHog. You can opt-out at any time.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not sell your children's data. We only share necessary data with trusted third-party providers (like Stripe for payments or OpenAI for language processing) strictly for the purpose of operating the app.
